In a series of eight lectures, David Saulesco traces Western music history 400 years back in time: From the turn of the second millennium all the way back to the 17th century, peeling back the layers to reveal what gave way to what. Each lecture is richly illustrated with pictures and music examples.
This is the first of two lecture series. The second is planned for Autumn 2026 and will begin in prehistoric times, moving forward through Western music history up to and including the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
Lectures are held weekly on Fridays at 13:00–15:00 starting January 23rd* at Röjås Hall, Varvsbacken 10, Härnösand.
