Trio Nastela presents a curated mix of original works as well as transcriptions for oboe, bassoon and piano. Music by classical composers like Ernest Chausson and Ludwig van Beethoven is paired with the premiere performance of David Saulesco’s Rhapsody for oboe, bassoon and piano commissioned by Trio Nastela as part of its ambition to expand the still meagre repertoire for this ensemble type through numerous commissions from contemporary composers. The trio consists of Asuka Nakamura, piano; Sebastian Stevensson, bassoon; and Emmanuel Laville, oboe.
